HIKI was born from the Collective, a group of people from all walks of life who work with us to create personal care products they actually want. Because when people are seen, heard, and invited into the process, the results are far better than “normal.”
Through candid conversations about our bodies, sweat and everyday lives, we built a line of vegan, cruelty-free products that reflect the daily needs of real bodies in motion, not just their underarms.
Because sweat happens, and that’s just fine. HIKI is here to help make it a bit more comfortable.
As a brand dedicated to personal care, HIKI understands how common it is to face feelings of low self-esteem, shame or stress about our bodies. We believe by engaging in open conversations and shared experiences, we can help each other combat the stigma around these feelings.
That's why we’ve partnered with the Sad Girls Club and Sad Boys Club, organizations that were founded to foster a community in the mental health world among millennials and Gen Z. Their goal is to spread awareness at an early age and diminish the negative stigma surrounding mental health through events, online counsel and curriculum building.
During these uncertain times, we realize how important our mental health is. In that spirit, HIKI has made a donation to the Sad Girls Club and Sad Boys Club, to aid in their continued commitment to creating safe spaces where all people can feel supported and heard.

HIKI was built by and for people from all walks of life, because we wanted to make products that work well for any body. But it’s not just about whether a product is effective—but also, does it feel good? Does it look good? Is it safe for my body? Is it safe for the planet?
We’ve leaned on The Collective to help us both answer, and prioritize, these questions from the very beginning.
As a company (and as people who share this planet) sustainability is important to us. We know we still haven’t got it all figured out.
When we set out to create HIKI, we aimed to make our packaging as sustainable as possible. We are proud of some of our success in this goal and know we have room to improve as well. We are continuing to work hard to make future productions of the brand more and more sustainable.
While many of our products are currently recyclable, a couple are less so. Available for purchase now, we are testing an alternative packaging option with our Travel Sized Natural Deodorant so customers can choose 100% recyclable packaging made from entirely Post Consumer Recyclable (PCR) materials, rather than our traditional design. While we were unable thus far to make PCR work for our core products, our hope is to show demand through this offering, to help us work with packaging manufacturers on long-term solutions.
